Many if not all of our competitors charge for this service. These values, free or paid for, can only give an agency owner an idea of the value of the agency.
Sure, there are indicators of value (See our white paper on the “9 indicators of Value”). However, there is only one sure-fire way of figuring out the real value of your agency and that can only happen when you decide to make the commitment to sell the agency. The work leading up to the decision is important, but the true value of an agency is up to the market and what that market is willing to pay.
We believe that is where preparation and the true partnership really begins to matter. We believe that understanding what our clients are truly looking to accomplish and matching that with the right buyer is the only way to determine the true value for an agency. We believe that is what makes us different. We believe that the sustainability of our clients and getting them the best value for their business can only be accomplished by making sure that the process of bringing a client to market is a true partnership.
We believe that we can only accomplish a true partnership when we totally and completely understand our client’s personal and financial objectives and that takes time and effort. It is important for us to get to know our clients beyond the financial analysis. While many of the agencies we represent have the same general financial and operational objectives, they are very diverse in their personal and professional objectives.
